The Hybrid Approach
Bridging the Gap From Pain To Performance
Identify Source of Pain
This is where we will not only identify the WHAT, but also the WHY. We start each session with a thorough movement assessment and examination to help guide our thought process. Next, we create a personalized plan of care that can include our hands-on techniques such as soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization/manipulation, and dry needling.
Increase Functional Capacity
Injury = Load > Capacity. Increasing your capacity in order to handle all types of different loads and stressors life throws at you is the biggest goal during the second step. We use basic and advanced rehabilitation techniques which include strength and conditioning principles, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS), and Mckenzie Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT).
Optimize Human Performance
Once individuals have returned to function, it is important to increase injury resiliency. We create an exercise program centered around your goals and tasks to help reduce the risk of re-injury. The third step in our approach is the separating factor into ensuring long-term change.
