I’m Dr. Ermiyas— sports chiropractor and performance therapist
I’m the owner and sports chiropractor at Hybrid Rehab and Performance. I was born and raised right here in Tampa, Fl, specifically in the Town n Country and Citrus Park area. I grew up being very active while participating in multiple sports including football, soccer, and track and field. This has led me to grow a passion for movement and performance which ultimately led me down this path of being a chiropractor and performance therapist.
I graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. I went on to attend Logan University in St. Louis and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. During my last year at Logan, I was fortunate enough to participate in a preceptorship with the University of Memphis sports medicine team. I was able to work with athletes on a day-to-day basis, working mostly with their football, baseball, and basketball athletes. While enrolled in chiropractic school, I attended countless hours of continuing education courses including Altis Performance Therapy, Active Release Technique (ART), Mckenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), Dry Needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and more. In my final clinical preceptorship rotation, I was able to finish my educational career at Health-Fit Chiro in South Florida. Here I was able to work with active individuals of the Boca Raton community and pitchers from TBT Baseball, a premier baseball training facility.
In my free time, I like to work out, try new food, and spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy playing team sports as I participate in many adult leagues in the Tampa area. You can find me at Cinco Soccer once or twice a week trying my best to hold on to my soccer memories. I look forward to working with people from the Tampa community and helping people better understand movement and pain.
